Some May Events

This soccer season was a little too cold to go out to every game and watch, but we were able to make it to a few of Chad's games. We love watching and playing soccer!

Neil's brother Chad, in one of his last soccer games. He's graduating this year, and then heading to New York!

Ben, Chad, Neil and Jeff. They just sort of look like brothers!

This is was quick shot that Neil took of Nicole and I as we were running the Race For the Cure. It's because we were running so fast!! We actually were surprised that we saw them as we ran by. We finished the race in just under 28 minutes. It was amazing to see all of the people out to support those with, or who had Breast Cancer.

Nicole and I, after the race! We're BrEaSt friends now!! It was so fun, I think we're going to do it again next year! Now we're training for the 10K in July! Anyone else want to join??? Seriously! Anyone?

My cute kids, who had to get up early to come and watch!

Grandma Scott and the whole family came to watch! Thanks for the support!

Then we headed to the zoo! We gave in and bought a zoo pass, so anyone who wants to go, call us! I wanted to get a picture of the cute baby elephant, but he/she wasn't cooperating.

Every time we go to the zoo, they have to play on the playground!

A few of us at the bird show. It was really neat. I was impressed, and would definitely go again. We even got to see a bald eagle!

Of course the famous, prairie dog hole, or whatever it's called!

April Showers or April Snow?

I didn't know that it could be so cold in the month of April! Maybe because when I think of it being April 30th, I don't think of waking up to snow! Anyway... I'm a little distraught about it, but I guess I'll get over it! April did have a few great days!
April is the month of my birth. Yep, I turned a year older this month!! Everyone was very thoughtful and super nice to me on my birthday. I have to shout out a big THANK YOU!

I have to say there was a great night in April where we were able to go to the park. I ran, while Neil played with the kids. He's been great at supporting my training. Here are a few great photo's of the kids.

Oh, how I LOVE to see green, warm grass! It warms my heart.

Carter and EmmaLee could stay on the swings all night if we would let them!

Unfortunately, the night ended in a fall. It was a beautiful day, but with that comes scraped knees.

Also in April, Neil's Brother Chad received his mission call. This is Neil and I waiting to hear where he's going!

New York, New York South, Spanish speaking. We are so excited for Chad. I'm going to miss him so much! And, I really want to go pick him up in two years! I want to go to New York so badly.

So in my family growing up, we have always LOVED Chick-fil-a. When it was at Valley Fair Mall years ago, we always loved to go there. Also, when we visit family in Oklahoma, we always have to stop at Chick-fil-a. My brother and his wife even drove down from Boise one night, just to eat at Chick-fil-a! So when the chance came, at the grand opening in West Valley, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to be one of the first 100 people to get 52 free combo meals for the year. Luckily, Neil volunteered for the job, because as previously mentioned, it snowed the morning they stayed out in the parking lot. BRRR!

EmmaLee was jealous of the shirt and wanted a picture also!

And... Carter!
