An Amazing Oklahoma Wedding!

So, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Oklahoma for my nephew's wedding. I had such a great time. I don't ever get to see a lot of my family, so it was SO GREAT to be able to spend so much time with them! This picture is of eight out of the ten siblings. Me and my only brother, Joe (but I just call him brother!) are on the top row, then Jennifer, Joleen, Jill, JaNeal, Jodie, and Judy on the bottom. What do you think, do we all look alike?

Here is me and four of my cute nieces. Can you believe I'm their Aunt? I'm so lucky!
This is a picture taken at the Luncheon, the day before the wedding. L to R is my sister JaNeal, Niece Lindsey, Niece Kalee, Niece Shanna, Sister Jennifer, Me and my Niece Erynn at the bottom.

Jennifer and I right before the wedding. The picture was taken in the Hotel.

This is a picture of all of my Nieces and Nephews that were able to be there for the wedding. The Bride and Groom, Wes and Brittany are on the right.

These are some of my Crazy Brother-in-laws, and my brother (to the right) You gotta love them!

A few of us decided to go running at 10:00 at night in Oklahoma. You think it would be cool... nope, it was still very hot and humid. It was a great workout though! I did sweat more than I ever had!

The wedding cake. Their colors were pink and black.

Dave and Jill. The parents of the Groom. Dave just looks so happy to have his picture taken! And of course Jill is as cute as ever! She owns her own Hair Salon, and she always is so sweet and cuts my hair when I there. She is amazing!

Wes and I before the big Wedding!! He's so cute! Even though he is my nephew, he is only a couple of years younger than me. When we were younger, and he visited he always made me laugh. Even still, he has something about him that makes you want to be around him. He is such a cute guy!

Jennifer, Joel, JaNeal, Erynn and Jodie... Waiting for the wedding to start.

David, Joleen and Riley. Joleen is my sister and I'm wondering how she got so tan? How did I not get those genes?

My nephew and niece Cameron and Alex. Ring bearer and Flower girl

This is one of my favorite pictures of Wes. This was during the ceremony and the officiator had them turn around and look at all of the people there to support them. Wes had tears in his eyes and I seriously could not hold back the tears. I'm super sentimental, especially when I see others crying, I cannot help it! It was sweet.

During the reception, they had dinner and Dancing. They DJ had a song where you had to pay a $1 to dance with the Bride or Groom. This is all of us waiting to pay to dance with Wes. Kalee didn't have a dollar, so she got out her four quarters!!

This is how the lucky couple got to leave their wedding, in a HELICOPTER! It was seriously so cool! It was a great way to exit! The next day, they were headed off to Jamaica!
It was such fun trip and I loved spending time with all of my family. I did miss my sweet husband and kids, but it was great to get away.

The next weekend, we went to Taylorsville Dayzz to hang out and see fireworks. Before the show, Neil was wheeling the kids around on his brother's long board. They had such a fun time. Carter didn't like the fireworks so much. He wanted his eyes and ears covered. But he never cried. He was just glad they were over! Hopefully that will change next year. EmmaLee did great this year, and can't wait to see them again!

Here are a few of us girls, hanging out before the show!

I had to throw this picture in also. (Just for my documenting purposes!) On Sunday we were coming home late and EmmaLee decided to play on some bricks by our house. This was the end result! The poor thing was in a lot of pain. But we put together a make shift huge band aid and I slept by her bed until she said she felt better. The next day she acted like everything was perfectly fine. Kids are so resilient! OUCH!

Yet Another Fabulous Wedding!

Kimberly and Chris Scott!
June 16, 2010
It was such an amazing wedding! I am so excited to have a new sister-in-law!

Two days before the wedding, a bunch of us girls from both sides of the family went to get pedicures and this is how it turned out!

Here is all of us after. We had such a fun time! Can't you tell we're all so relaxed from our feet massage!

Our family, at the Salt Lake Temple, waiting for Chris and Kimberly to come out. We were all so excited.

Carter, playing on the stairs.

EmmaLee, just LOVED her outfit and was posing all night! She felt like a princess!

All of the little girls in their super cute outfits, which by the way, Kimberly made! She made the skirts and the cute bows!

It was a fun, wonderful day! However, this little girl was tired!

Birthday Weekend/Memorial Weekend

Happy 2nd Birthday Carter!!
Our sweet boy turned two over Memorial Weekend, and it was the perfect weekend to go on a trip! A family in our neighborhood, the Lawrences invited us to go to St. George with them for a few days. It seriously was such a fun trip! The weather was perfect, the kids were great! It was just a great way to celebrate and have a good time with friends.

This is Carter at the little splash park that they have in St. George. Carter LOVED running up and down and through the water!

EmmaLee loved it too. It was a little bit cold at first, but she got used to it. And she especially loved that she got to wear her princess swim suit.

A perfect day for basking in the beautiful sun!

Neil and Andrew of course, brought out their Frisbees. Carter is close by, of course! He loves to watch dad!

Buddies! Kohen and Carter.

That night we went out to dinner and they were SO SWEET to make Carter his own special "2" pizza! I was shocked! It not only looked good, but tasted amazing also.

Nicole and I at dinner. Can I just steal some of her tan please?? I guess I only get blessed with lots of freckles!

A cute family photo moment!

EmmaLee posing to be like him.

This explains Carter, perfectly! Did I mention that he just turned two?

EmmaLee loved the little swimming pool that they had at the hotel. She asked about a million times a day, when we were going to go swimming.

Hanging at the pool.

This was at Snow Canyon in St. George. The sand felt Amazing!

Neil ran and jumped a few times over the hill! He was super sweaty after the event! But it was fun! This was the best picture that I was able to get.

We left St. George on Memorial day just in time to make it back for a Birthday party at the park with my family and Neil's. There were other May Birthdays so we celebrated them all. I slaved away and purchased Ding Dongs, and through a candle in each one. Hard work, I know! Carter wasn't too sure about blowing out his candle!

EmmaLee with her cousin Hannah. There were so many people there, and Carter had an amazing birthday. I want to say Thank You to everyone for coming and making is such a special day!

Again, Carter not interested in the candles.

This is a picture of Neil and I as we were leaving. It was such a great weekend, with our trip and Carter's birthday party, we hope to do it all again next year!
