We painted our bathroom, during Neil's time off school, and we left the door open (don't ask me why we did that!) Five seconds later, we ran in and Carter had painted the floor, himself and left a footstep trail! Oh, how I love that boy, but he sure does get into everything!
So, unfortunately, it's back to school for Neil and back to our regular old routine! We haven't had much going on lately, but I thought I would post a few random pictures from recently. Every year, I get so sad around this time, because I know that snow is just around the corner. Don't get me wrong, I like snow, I just am not fond of it six months out of the year. (Which probably isn't true, but it seems like that's how long the snow stays around in Utah!) Mostly it's hard because I feel like I have to stay in my house with the kids. And it gets dark so fast! I need warmth and daylight! Anyway, moving on... Here are some fun pictures of random events..

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple. (I guess this was a July moment, but close enough!) It was beautiful and the kids did great! I was surprised when they handed out cookies and bottled water at the end. It was a perfect day, and a good chance to talk to EmmaLee about Temples.

We tried to get a good family picture, but as you can see, the kids weren't having any of that!

My sister-in-law Jill, at her baby shower right before she had cute Hannah. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my newest Niece. She was born August 13th, and a cute one she is!

Here is a picture of me, after getting off the worst plane ride of my life! Here is a picture of the lovely white throw-up bag!

Carter LOVING playing in the water and sand at the beach in DayBreak. He had a blast!

EmmaLee crying at the beach, because she had just fallen in the water, and water went up her nose! Poor girl.

Us at the Gateway with some neighbor friends playing in the fountains. Although we didn't get too wet, the kids just wanted to watch that day.

Carter loves to turn on and off the TV. Especially when you are watching your favorite show!

Neil sliced his thumb while opening a can. It bled on and off for about five hours. He had to keep constant pressure on it. He probably should have had stitches, but he took care of it well, so I hope it heals well.

Neil, my cute husband, showing off his thumb! Later that day, he also got stung by a bee on his foot! And yesterday, EmmaLee got stung by a bee on her cheek! Crazy!
