So, as you can tell by my blog, I just love pictures! I just love to capture the moment we are in at that time. Anyway, I have taken a bunch lately, so here are just a few.

Vinyl Lettering.. My Treehouse Treasures
So I was thinking about getting some vinyl lettering, or sayings for our house. I happened to be talking to my niece, Val, who partner's with her sister-in-law, Jen, in the whole vinyl wording business. They actually have a booth at The Quilted Bear, if you want to check it out, or you can go strait to Jen's website at http://www.mytreehousetreasures.com/. Anyway, I loved it because you can pick out what ever you want to say, with any color and in any font at a great price! It was great, so I took a picture so you could see what we were working on for EmmaLee, and soon to be Carter's, room.
Cereal for Carter
Carter tried his first bite of rice cereal! He didn't like it so much at first, but he didn't do too bad. Of course it was well thinned out with milk, so I shouldn't have been that bad for him. It is just getting used to using that spoon. However, since then he has come down with a small cold, so I haven't fed him cereal since. I guess I just have to try next week. He is just getting so big, I can't believe it!
Pumpkin Patch
Neil's parents have a neighbor named Pam, who holds an annual pumpkin patch in her front yard. It is a lot of fun for the kids, and adults too! We picked out a pumpkin, carved it, played some games, ate lots of yummy food and of course had desserts and candy! It was a lot of fun, thanks Pam... and the Cornia family.

Interrupted!
The other night Carter was laughing so hard over a silly little dog, stuffed animal, so I hurried to get the camera... let's just say EmmaLee interrupted with news of her own! You'll have to watch and see.
Swimming
We went swimming last night at the fitness center. Neil and his brothers are all swimmers so they had to compete to see who was still the best! EmmaLee just loves to play in the water, and Carter got in later, after Grandma Scott was so gracious to watch him for the first little while. Carter loved it, and he didn't make a peep the whole time. He is such a sweetie. I tried to do some laps with my sister-in-law Jill, but I was wasted, and what can I say... Out of shape! But it was really fun to play, everyone had a fun time!
Back Flip
Here is Neil showing off his amazing back flip skills, right before we were going to leave the fitness center. What a show off! (Just kidding Neil, I am actually just jealous!)

My Love!
I just have to write about the love of my life... Of course... Neil Scott! What a sweetheart! For those of you who don't know, he is currently going to school full time in the master's Occupational Therapy program. It is a three year program and he is hard at work. Neil also works on the weekends, when he can, to help out. Sometimes I feel guilty going out and doing such fun things, such as going to the zoo, when I know he is in class or studying. Without being too cheesy, I want to tell him that I love him very much! He is wonderful for making such a sacrifice for our family!
Zoo
Today when I woke up, I decided that we should go the zoo before the weather starts turning too cold. (It was actually Neil's idea, he's been telling us we needed to go for a while now so we can get good uses out of our zoo pass!) It was a perfect day. I was a little worried taking EmmaLee, with the whole potty thing, but she did awesome! She even went in the public restroom. And Carter was a sweetheart the whole time. I think he really likes to be pushed in the stroller. I'm sure the new scenery helped as well. We had a successful day, which couldn't make a mom more happy! Sometimes it is hard to get out the the house by myself with Neil away, but when I make successful trips, it makes me think I can go more places and make it work.
Potty Update!
This isn't the best subject to talk about, but to me, since this has been my life for the past four days, I can't help but talk about it! EmmaLee is doing great, maybe a little too great. She has realized that every time she goes to the potty she gets a reward, so she tries to go as many times in the day as possible! The crazy thing is, she goes most every time! All I can say is that she has very clean hands and I am getting a lot of exercise walking back and forth! However, we are having trouble going poop! Any ideas from you mom's out there? It seems to scare her. Neil was lucky enough to be home with her last night when she decided she needed to get it all out. Let's just say when I got home she was in the bathtub being scrubbed down! Thank you Neil!

EmmaLee's Potty Reward
Potty Training!
So, the time has come! EmmaLee has finally decided that she would like to use the toilet. She isn't 100%, but is working at it. All I can say is that this job is exhausting! Here is why: 1. You have to keep a smile constantly and be excited for her even when you know you have to clean up her mess when she is finished. 2. Since we have been rewarding her previously for going potty, now that she is going more often, I have to keep thinking of things that keep her excited so she'll continue to go. (I hope that doesn't last too long, I only have so many bottles of bubbles, or M&M'S.) 3. Laundry... do I have to say anything more? However, the rewards for getting her potty trained are exciting. I don't have to dread going to Costco and having a $100 bill for buying diapers and wipes for both EmmaLee and Carter. We even might be able to take out the garbage every other day, instead of every day!

Carter
Carter just turned four months old and he is such a sweetheart. As you can see by the pictures, he is very chunky, but you gotta love those kissable cheeks! I have to admit that I was a little worried about having two kids, but everyday I am so thankful that he is in our lives. He is very calm and so happy. EmmaLee had a hard time at first adjusting, but now she just loves him so much. She likes to sing and read to him. I am so lucky to be their mom!
