Running for this...

This was right after the race, we got our picture taken and put in Deseret News you can check the link: http://www.deseretnews.com/photo/gallery/story/700165774/Patrick-Smyth-wins-Deseret-News-mens-10K.html?photoId=542540

This was just before the race, all ready to go at 5:45 AM

It was so fun to be around thousands of other runners, you can feel the excitement in the air. This is my fourth time running this race, but this one was the absolute best because I got to share it with my whole family!

Carter fell asleep, and we got many comments as we were running! Neil got the most, hooray for Dad comments for pushing the stroller!

Stretching out

Finished, wahoo!!

Such fast runners!!

Waiting for the parade, Carter was especially excited this year, because he knew what to expect. He was entertained the whole time and that can be hard to do!

The best part of the parade is having such fun family and friends to hang out with! Thanks to all who came!! Pictures say more than words, we sure had a great Pioneer day!! And most of all, thanks to my parents who slept over night to save such a great spot in the shade!!

Where does the time go?

For Independence day, we first headed to a breakfast at the Limburg home, for a some great music, dancing and most of, did I mention a delicious breakfast?

EmmaLee posing in her 4th of July outfit!

We always head to the Magna Parade! They throw out lots of candy and the kids love it!

We then went a delicious BBQ at the Hunt's house! They kids had a blast playing together!

I just love hanging out with family on the fourth, it really is such a fun holiday!

Carter hasn't been cooperating in pictures lately, but this is him pulling the wagon, which he LOVES to do! He would rather pull than to push. I guess he feels manly or something? Whatever it is, he loves it.

We, as a family, got to go visit Neil's work at the University Hospital. He took us to lunch at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The restaurant overlooks the whole valley and it is absolutely gorgeous up there! I would recommend it to anyone. EmmaLee ordered a hamburger, as you can see it was a very large one and she ate the whole thing! She really is the best eater!

Carter on the other hand was only wanting french fries, silly boy. It was such a fun trip to see where Neil works and meet a lot of his co-workers.

This was the best picture I was able to get of the cure search walk for children with Cancer. I have a friend who's five year old daughter just kicked cancer! But it was so sad to realize that there are so many young children out there who have to go through this awful disease. On this particular day, Salt Lake City raised over $50,000.

Seven Peaks Salt Lake, formally known as Raging Waters, is where we have spent a lot of our time this summer! We are so happy that we got such a good deal on the season passes. We've loved all of out time there!

Jeff and Hannah, that girl loves the water!

EmmaLee has become quite the good swimmer and she can cross about anything! She asks me almost every day if we get to go swimming!

This is right before Heidi and Jill went on the yellow, or roller coaster slide (I don't really know what to call it!) for their first time! They went flying down, but had a blast!

Hannah, Jeff and Jill

Carter is obsessed with jumping in the water, he could do it all day if we'd let him. I love the look on Neil's face!

This is Neil, trying to catch air!

Jeff, on the upside of the slide, pretty cool view.

This is the kiddie area, where we spend most of our time!

Because we go there so often, I decided to take a day off to capture our fun. I wish I could always bring my camera because we've had so much fun with lots of family and friends, I would have loved to capture every moment with all of them!
