Magical

Okay, so the stories are true, Disneyland is the happiest place on earth! If only I could bottle up the smiles and laughter, especially from EmmaLee, just thinking about how much fun she had makes everything worth it! We spent two days and loved it! We went at the perfect time. We hardly waited in line, we rode everything we wanted, it was a little chilly at times, but overall perfect! The pictures say everything!

We stopped in St. George on the way home, to split up the drive. The kids love swimming! We hung out for the day swimming and playing at beautiful Snow Canyon. Unfortunately EmmaLee fell on her scooter right before we were ready to leave, poor girl :( But overall, we couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Celebration!

After Graduation, we celebrated at Liberty park with all Red and White desserts! We had strawberry shortcakes and "U" shaped doughnuts with red frosting! Each water bottle had a the U symbol and a congratulations to the class of 2011! My camera was dying so here are the pictures I was able to get.

It was a gorgeous day, perfect for a party! The kids loved having a playground to run and play!

Graduation!!

Graduation came! Neil has been in school for our entire marriage, and this week, he has finished!! Yes, finished!! I seriously thought this day would never come. We looked at May 2011 on our calendar many times, and it just couldn't get here fast enough. I remember telling people that date, and just saying 2011 seemed so far out there! But we made it, I'm not sure how, but we did! We couldn't be happier! Neil graduated with honors with his Master's in Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah. I couldn't be more proud! It's been a long road, Congratulations babe!!

This is Neil at his pinning ceremony the night before he graduated. He class had been raising money for three years to help pay for this night. It was catered by a company called Rio. It was great Mexican food. Neil was also asked to speak at the dinner. He spake and he also wrote a song and played it on his guitar. He did an absolute amazing job! The song was about his class and the past three years they spent together. I have it on video, if you ever want to hear it!

Neil's parents and I were invited. They have been such a huge help throughout this journey through school, we love them very much!

This was the view we had outside of the pinning ceremony! Gorgeous!!

My sweet love! He has worked so hard!

Thursday, May 5th Graduation day! EmmaLee so excited to see her dad.

And Carter actually made it most of the way through the whole graduation ceremony, I'll take what I can get!

This is right before they called his name as an official graduate! Neil Scott, he so hot!!

The graduating class of 2011, Occupational Therapy, they will now be known as MOT's.

Our Family! This was the best shot we were able to get.

Our sweet sister in law, Kimberly also graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Speech therapy, it was so fun to be at the same graduation. She also was mentioned in graduation as the outstanding senior! She seriously is amazing!! Love her! Congratulations Kimberly!

This is everyone who attended the graduation for Neil and Kimberly, we love you all and thank you!

Gotta Love Weddings!!

On April 30th, we had such a great day! First up in the morning was Neil's sister Heidi's and her new husband, Jeff's Wedding brunch. They previously got married in the Virgin Islands on April 14th and came back to Utah to celebrate with a delicious brunch! It was so fun to celebrate with them. It's fun to have another Brother-in-law in the family!

They tried to get all of the nieces and nephews in the picture, but the kids weren't cooperating, Carter included!

All of us Girls in the Scott Family, with Heidi looking absolutely gorgeous!

Heidi's husband Jeff, announcing the program. The program was amazing with Erica singing, Kimberly playing her cello and many others! Also Heidi had a surprise song for Jeff on the piano, with all of the boys singing "You're the Inspiration!" After this wedding we had another (after taking the kids home for a nap, thank goodness!)
Here are a few shots from my nephew Tyrell's wedding. They were married at Wheeler Farm, it was a beautiful wedding!! They are so in love and we are happy to have Amber as a part of our family! EmmaLee got to dance with Amber, and she loved it! I also let EmmaLee take charge of the camera and she got some great pictures.

The Handsome Tyrell!

The First Dance

I just love weddings, so it was a fun day to celebrate with both sides of our family! That never happens, so it made out to be such a great day!

Another Year

This year, with the new opening of Chick-fil-a, Neil had to work so I braved the strong wind and cold rain and spent 26 hours in the Chick-fil-a parking lot! It didn't feel worth it at the time, but now that we have the 52 free coupons, it was worth every hour! It is now the kids' favorite place to eat and play. We still haven't gotten sick of it and will continue to go back again and again! If you know EmmaLee, then you know that she LOVES babies! We had the chance to watch my great nephew one morning, and EmmaLee just couldn't wait to hold him! So I know it's not quite Easter yet, but my kids were running out of church clothes, or I guess wearing out their old ones, especially Carter! It was time to invest some money into more church clothes, so that they too can get worn out. However we found a great deal on this suit at Ross for $13.99! EmmaLee turned 5 this year and wanted to take a treat to her preschool. These days everything has to be store bought so we bought Ding Dongs and Juice. Her theme this year for her birthday was pink stars so I put a star on every cake and juice. She was so happy to share with all of her preschool friends! We celebrated her actual birthday at Chick-fil-a (She chose it, not me!!) And then she wanted ice cream at Leatherby's, so we had her pick out a scoop. She chose play dough ice cream and we got it To Go. I can't believe that she's already 5! I still remember the 17 hours of labor and wanting so badly to get her out before April fools day. I just barely made it by 13 mins! It was a very long day, but well worth it! She is my sweetest girl and I really mean SWEET! We got to have two parties for her this year, one for my family (those who could make it and who live in Utah) and one for Neil's family. This is her anxiously awaiting for her guests to arrive! We had a BBQ and I did princess cupcakes, everything turned out great, except the whipped cream frosting didn't whip the way I wanted. However it was delicious still! This is her cousins Alex, Brylie and Indie. Cousin Justin, Uncle Michael, and Uncle Bob Cousin Travis, Dad, Cousin Bryan and Harrison. Uncle Dave, Aunt Judy, Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Jodie This is me and my niece Val, or EmmaLee's Cousin Val This is the cake I make for EmmaLee's party for the Scott family. It was just like the one I made last year, but I wasn't creative enough to think of another one. But I love the way this one turns out and it's such a girl cake! I forgot my camera so this is the only picture that I got. She had a great birthday and we are so blessed to have such great family and friends!!
